Education Presentation:  Significant Changes to Article 680 of the 2017 NEC
This presentation will cover 2017 updates to Article 680 Part I General and Part II for Permanently Installed Pools. The focus will be on Part II Permanently Installed Pools.

Presenter:  James Hansmeier, Building Inspector III

James Hansmeier is a Building Inspector III, Electrical Specialist, for the County of Ventura Division of Building and Safety where he has been employed since 2014. Before becoming an Electrical Inspector, James worked as a certified Journeyman Inside Wireman as a member of IBEW local 952 and as an apprenticeship instructor for the Ventura County Electrical Apprenticeship. He continues to teach a variety of code related topics to both apprentice and journeyman electricians. As a Building Inspector III, James is a combination Building Inspector with a primary role as electrical plan checker and chief electrical inspector for the unincorporated areas of Ventura County.

The Southwestern Section of IAEI invites you to our 2019 Section Meeting to be held in beautiful “Valley of the Sun” at Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort, from Sunday, August 25th through Thursday, August 29th, the week before Labor Day.
