Electrical Codes
The State of Utah began enforcing the 2005 Edition of the National Electrical Code on January 1, 2006. Utah is one of only a few jurisdictions to adopt the NEC directly and without local amendments.

2008 National Electrical Code will become effective January 1, 2009.
