Electrical Codes
No statewide code
This is left to the jurisdiction of the local communities, but most of the major communities and a lot of the minor ones are using the 2005 and the 2002 NEC. Some are still using the 1999 Code, mostly in the southern part of the state.
The City of Biloxi, Mississippi adopted the 2005 National Electrical Code (NEC) on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 and will begin enforcement 30 days after adoption on or about April 21, 2006.
