Welcome to directCONNECT, IAEI's online summary of state and local electrical code and regulations!
This section of the IAEI.org website summarizes the major provisions of electrical code, enforcement, inspector licensing requirements (if available), and contractor/electrician licensing requirements for states, selected countries, and local jurisdictions throughout the U.S. We have finished collecting initial data for states throughout the US; however, local jurisdictions and foreign countries have not been completed yet. We will post when the local territories have started to be updated. If you want to help out, send us information on your local jurisdiction, and we can get started!

*A hybrid state is one that has an enforced code at the state-level, but allows local jurisdictions to enforce their own codes.
